Henry "Elie" Schwartz, MD

NAMED A TOP PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR BY CHICAGO MAGAZINE IN JANUARY 2023.

Dr. Elie is Dr. Dave’s son and true to the family’s calling decided that pediatrics was a perfect fit for him. He began practicing at Schwartz Pediatrics in July of 2015.

Dr. Elie's goal is for kids to feel good about themselves. He loves making them smile and laugh. He really enjoys sitting down and talking to patients and their families. He relates well to kids of all ages and connects easily with them.

Dr. Elie grew up in Buffalo Grove attending Stevenson High School. He attended the University of Rochester in New York completing his undergraduate degree in just three years and then went to Rush Medical College in Chicago for medical school. Dr. Elie started his pediatric residency at UCLA but after one year transferred back to the Chicagoland area in order to complete the final two years of his residency closer to home at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Dr. Elie is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Elie has always loved sports. He earned all-conference honors while playing baseball in high school and played a year of Division III baseball in college. He has completed both the Chicago Marathon and Triathlon. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, cross country skiing, and snow boarding. He plays both the guitar and piano. On his days off, he likes to read, watch movies, and try his hand at cooking. Dr. Elie is married and has a beautiful daughter. His wife Jackie is an educator and currently serves as a district director of student services.
